Role Overview

Revolut is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer for our core payment systems team in London. You will build and scale high-throughput transaction pipelines, real-time fraud checks, and customer-facing banking interfaces across web and mobile.

Key Responsibilities

Design, write, and deploy backend microservices and responsive web user interfaces
Optimize database queries and streaming consumers for sub-50ms transaction latency
Participate in architecture reviews, on-call rotations, and code reviews
Work with security and compliance teams on FCA and PSD2 payment requirements

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

5+ years building production applications with TypeScript, React/Next.js and Python or Go
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL query optimization, Redis caching, and Kafka event streams
Demonstrated experience deploying services on Kubernetes clusters and AWS infrastructure
Strong knowledge of distributed systems consistency, idempotency, and API design
Professional working proficiency in English
